6G D2D Wireless Communication System Using ML
Our project investigates how machine learning can improve wireless channel estimation in a realistic urban Device-to-Device communication scenario. We compare classical Least Squares against a Random Forest model trained to reconstruct missing subcarriers using channel correlation. The results show that machine learning reduces pilot overhead and delivers more accurate channel estimates. Video Research poster View…
Resonant Load Frequency-Controlled Induction Heater
Frequency controlled induction heating circuit made from two main circuits paired with a transformer that increases current for metalworking. Using faradays law of induction, we can heat any conductive object within a coil with the right conditions. Hydrogen Powered Microgrid with Integrated Fuel Cell
Our team has designed a system to produce and store energy for an off grid home in Massachusetts. The system combines photovoltaics and a hydrogen fuel cell to generate reliable electricity by using solar panels to split water into hydrogen and oxygen, store the hydrogen, and pass it through a fuel cell at anytime. This…
Pillsync
PillSync is an automated, at-home medication management system designed to improve adherence and simplify daily pill routines. Our device combines a secure dispensing mechanism, an onboard touchscreen interface, and user authentication to ensure medications are taken safely and on schedule. The system tracks prescriptions, provides reminders, and offers a scalable foundation for future connectivity and…

Dendritic Identifiers and AR/XR in assembly and maintenance operations
Our project utilizes smart glasses, a 2 stage computer vision technique, and Google Cloud services to locate and identify dendritic structures. These dendritic structures can take the place of barcodes or similar identification methods and reduce counterfeit parts in major industries like aviation, medical, and automotive. Unlike barcodes and serial numbers, it is nearly impossible…
Dendritic Identifier Authentication Device
The project was to build a complete verification system using and verifying unique Dendritic Identifiers. The project entailed a camera, lighting, and software that would work together to achieve dendritic identification and verification.
