Summary
Our project utilizes smart glasses, a 2 stage computer vision technique, and Google Cloud services to locate and identify dendritic structures. These dendritic structures can take the place of barcodes or similar identification methods and reduce counterfeit parts in major industries like aviation, medical, and automotive. Unlike barcodes and serial numbers, it is nearly impossible to replicate, or fake, the uniqueness of dendrite structures.
