Summary

UPS system which explores the use of sodium-ion batteries as opposed to the standard Lithium-Ion. Sodium being cheaper and less dangerous for use in batteries means that this emerging field is likely to have major benefits for industry use. This project presents what may be the most ideal use of these batteries, that is, being used for rapid switching, backup power, and power conditioning within a UPS system.
