Partnering with Honeywell Aerospace Technologies, this team is working to find a second life for the additive manufacturing powder leftover from the production process. Addressing this issue will help Honeywell save money and reduce the environmental impact of the waste. The plan involves developing and evaluating epoxy composites using the waste material, with the final deliverable assessing the composite’s material properties and proposing a use case for the surplus powder.
