Summary

This project develops a portable solar-powered charging system that uses a photovoltaic panel and MPPT controller to charge a removable 24 V battery for a small electric vehicle. The system emphasizes off-grid operation and introduces a battery swapping approach to improve reliability, safety, and flexibility compared to direct charging. By combining a working commercial controller with a studied DIY MPPT design, the project demonstrates both practical functionality and underlying power electronics principles.
