Summary
Poomba is an autonomous robotic pooper-scooper designed to keep dog parks clean using computer vision and intelligent navigation. Our system combines a Raspberry Pi 5, custom VEX-based chassis, motor control, sensors, and an Edge Impulse object-detection model to identify and collect waste in real time. The goal is to deliver a fast, lightweight, low-cost robot that demonstrates practical automation, AI integration, and sustainable community impact.
