PCB Design and Readout for Real-Time Sensing System

Electrical Engineering

Team 19: Christopher Muise, Matthew Meagher, Fitsum Taye, Jeremy Devera, Sri Kakara

Summary

This project introduces a portable and cost-effective real-time sensing system that interfaces with the Nanobiotronix biosensor chip. Designed for applications in healthcare and environmental monitoring, it measures electrical resistance across 32 sensing channels. The core of the system involves a transimpedance amplifier network and a microcontroller that translates analog signals into resistance values. A user-friendly OLED display delivers results instantly, making the device suitable for field and lab use.
