Summary
Hydrocephalus is a neurological disorder characterized by an accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) in the brain, which leads to increased intracranial pressure. Our team was tasked with developing a non-invasive, real-time monitoring system that uses acoustic sensors to assess shunt valve functionality. The system listens for specific sound patterns generated by valve actuation and uses signal processing to extract meaningful features.
