Abstract
This study employs THP-1 derived models to examine the effect of Extracellular vesicles on immune modulation. Confocal Microscopy and fluorescence-based markers were utilized to investigate the effect of Extracellular vesicles on the polarization of macrophages into Pro-inflammatory(M1) and anti-inflammatory (M2) phenotypes. The results aim to emphasize the potential of EVs in immune regulation particularly in the context of maternal-fetal tolerance.
