Summary

Our project is the design of a light-weight, portable, solar PV system equipped with a battery that has a collapsing mechanism built in. This mechanism reduces the system’s profile, making it more streamlined in order to reduce the mechanical stress induced from high speed winds created by hurricanes, tornados and severe thunderstorms.
