Summary

The goal of this project is to develop a reliable monitoring system for the PDMS duckbill valve, a prototype developed by an ASU research team, using a doppler sensor to directly capture ultrasound data from the implant and provide real-time insights on whether it is operating as intended. The project involves designing a method to acquire data via the doppler sensor, filter such data accordingly and correlate it with measured flow and pressure data to assess the valve functionality.
